We are pleased to announce the launch of a research project where Jitsik will partner with Erick Guerra Professor of City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania to develop a Digital Twin of the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. This project is funded by Safety21, a University Transportation Center, located at Carnegie Mellon University. The Roosevelt Boulevard frequently makes lists of the most dangerous roadways in America. For the last several decades, it has consistently accounted for around a tenth of Philadelphia’s traffic fatalities.

For this project, our engineering team will leverage the Cesium GeoSpatial database to offer the most realistic recreation of the boulevard. We look forward to adding this important driving scenario to our VR MetaDrive environment.
