Jitsik launches a new Human Study of its Metadrive Mixed Reality Driving Simulator!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a study of Virtual Reality for Driving Education that we are launching in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania. For this study of 60 young drivers, we are looking for participants age 18 to 30, with or without a driving license. The study takes place at one of three locations: the Jitsik Lab on 34th and Lancaster, the Bala Cynwyd location of Driven2Drive and the xLab Safe Autonomous Systems Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. Jitsik attends Safety21 Deployment Partner Consortium Symposium in Pittsburgh

We had a great visit in Pittsburgh for the kickoff US DOT Safety21 National University Transportation Center. Over 80 partners were present.The University of Pennsylvania led by Rahul Mangaharam demonstrated the Autonomous EV go-kart and had a friendly #F1Tenth autonomous racing competition at #CarnegieMellon. Digital Twin of the Roosevelt Boulevard

We are pleased to announce the launch of a research project where Jitsik will partner with Erick Guerra Professor of City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania to develop a Digital Twin of the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. This project is funded by Safety21, a University Transportation Center, located at Carnegie Mellon University. The Roosevelt Boulevard frequently makes lists of the most dangerous roadways in America. For the last several decades, it has consistently accounted for around a tenth of Philadelphia’s traffic fatalities.

We are thrilled to announce Jitsik LLC will be partnering with Driven2Drive to deliver Driving Simulation to young teen drivers. Starting November 2023, our Mixed Reality Driving Simulator will be available to young novice drivers in the Bala Cynwyd location.
