In Jonathan's memory
Jitsik was founded by Jonathan Mimoun Loeb, a graduate of Drexel's College of Engineering. A car and technology enthusiast, Jonathan combined his two passions by creating Jitsik. Tragically, Jon passed on October 7th 2021 from esophageal cancer. He was 27 years old. Jon dreamed of being the CEO of a tech startup.

Meeting with Elon Musk!
From a tender age Jon looked up to tech titans for inspiration. He was first fascinated by Bill Gates. At age 13, he looked up to Steve Jobs and bought his first ipod touch as it became available. He always tuned to the big Apple announcements. Soon, he became interested in electric cars, automated cars and everything Tesla. After his cancer diagnosis, we got him to meet Elon Musk. We are thankful to the Tesla team who made it happen.
CHILDHOOD
As a child, Jon collected small car toys. He always got thrilled by the sight of construction sites with dump trucks and all. Jonathan was fascinated by how things worked. He loved a specific tape "How a car s built" which we borrowed from the public library again and again. He had a deep curiosity on how things come to be, which tools were used to build them, and how these tools were themselves built. That deep curiosity shaped who he became. Jon shared his love of technology with many friends. Age 15, he created a youtube channel MacHeads101 to share what he learned with the larger community. He is greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to meet him.
